Reflecting on one’s self

I’ve come a long way from August. I started with a decent idea but it blossomed into my true escapism that I have been working to find this whole time. The research I have done has truly pushed me in the right direction and I plan to continue. I knew when it was going to be great when everything fell right into place. I think my largest challenges have been the content and trying to truly tap into the human psyche as well as my own. I’ve learned so much about myself; i never knew that escapism was such a large part of my life. I think it comes from the longing sensation to get back to my roots in upstate. I will shoot a lot upstate over break and I will story board a lot as well. I want general feedback from everyone and anyone to see if I am evoking any kind of feelings of nostalgia. 

Final crit

I thought that the final crit put me in the right direction. I agree that I have far too many themes and I need to pick one thing and really hash it out. I was not completely happy with the video, it doesn’t drive home the nostalgic feeling I want to give my audience. I will be storyboarding and shooting over break.
